When a domain stops resolving, run through the checks below.
1. ICANN status
- Visit https://www.whois.com/whois/.
- Enter your domain and review the WHOIS output.
If the status shows clientHold, the registrar likely suspended the domain due to phishing, spam, malware, or other violations. Registrars don’t always notify us, so open a support ticket if you need clarification.
2. DNSSEC validity
Even if WHOIS looks fine, invalid DNSSEC records can break DNS resolution.
- Go to https://dnssec-debugger.verisignlabs.com/.
- Enter your domain and review the results.
If you see errors, your DNSKEY or DS entries are wrong. Verify the correct values with Mynymbox or your registrar and update them accordingly.
If you still face problems after these checks, open a support ticket so we can investigate further.
