To configure additional domains or create subdomains you have to follow the steps below:
- Login to your Control Panel (https://admin.YOURDOMAIN.COM)
- Click on the left menu on "Create Virtual Server" and you will see
- Enter the name for your subodomain under "Domain name". For example blog.testdomain1.is. (You have to enter your domain name! A valid DNS record for your subdomain must exist!). If your main domain doesn't have a MariaDB database you have to uncheck Enable MariaDB database. Then click "Create Server".
- After you have created your subdomain click on the right menu at the top and you can select your subdomain.
- If you open your web directory via FTP or with the File Manager you can see that a new directory called "domains" is created. Under this directory you can find your subdomain with the public_html folder. Like the normal main domain you have to upload your containt in this folder.
- Congratz - you have successfully created your subdomain.
