Create a subdomain Print

To configure additional domains or create subdomains you have to follow the steps below:

1. Login to your Control Panel (https://admin.YOURDOMAIN.COM)
   
   
2. Click on the left menu on "Create Virtual Server" and you will see
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the name for your subodomain under "Domain name". For example blog.testdomain1.is. (You have to enter your domain name! A valid DNS record for your subdomain must exist!). If your main domain doesn't have a MariaDB database you have to uncheck Enable MariaDB database. Then click "Create Server".
   
   
4. After you have created your subdomain click on the right menu at the top and you can select your subdomain.
   
   
5. If you open your web directory via FTP or with the File Manager you can see that a new directory called "domains" is created. Under this directory you can find your subdomain with the public_html folder. Like the normal main domain you have to upload your containt in this folder.
   
   
   
   
6. Congratz - you have successfully created your subdomain.
